I mean this isn’t too far off is it? Basically a COPO-Camaro-type deal but street-legal?

The only problem I see with this, is that the Hellcat only has 707hp for emissions reasons. It was making over 800 in testing, supposedly. Unless they have developed another all new engine for this, I don’t see it.

Emissions still. I see it just being another non-street legal drag car that they’ve done before.

Seems rather reaching for a street car, unless they’re continuing their “track” numbers trend. Meaning it’s 1000HP on race gas and possibly with an “included-in-the-trunk” pulley swap.

Unless... The rumored Hellcat V10 has gone into this, and they are just trying to fuck with the EPA. I’m all with fucking with the EPA.

Screw emissions, man. The EPA is a wet blanket

I’m still waiting for the EPA to sue itself for releasing toxic waste in CO.

Hell will freeze before that happens

You know, I’m fine with street cars having only 700hp if it means we can avoid the terrible smog we used to have and much of the rest of the world still does.
